Romney Marsh is one of the few places in Kent that still feels like wilderness. This piece of work is filmed on the site of a ruined 8th century church, a last monument to a village that was decimated during the Black Death.
The sound is confused; all you can be clear on is that these people have been there. Their half remembered facts and snippets of histories make you aware of the uncertainty of a journey the only thing that is sure is a description of the landscape.
